The biggest burger i have ever seen!

Yesterday a bunch of us had lunch and drinks outside the Jigger Inn in St Andrews on the old course. Amazing views slightly sheltered from the sea breeze and great food!

All 6 of us ordered the Jigger burger and we were not disappointed! see for yourself.

My only problem was a asked for medium rare and it came well done. Not the end of the world but a little annoying.

cheap cheap cheap soho lunch

Popped out for a spot of Friday lunch this week at Profile. They are offering 2 courses for £10!! So we thought we'd give it a go. We walked in with minimal expectations. Once seated the waiter went away came back and then gave us the menu which was a little frustrating as we were short on time and, isnt it the norm to get given your menu when you sit???

Any way lets not split hairs over it. We bother ordered the burger. I know I seem to be eating a lot of burgers lately but they really are the easiest thing to order on this diet (loose the bun and the chips and its fine).

So two burgers and 1 pint, I had tap water. We were asked how we wanted they cooked which is always a good sign. Food arrived fast, large portion and tasty, it was actually a cheese bacon burger - I must not have read it properly - it was good.

Vert bright an gay which one must expect when in Soho from time to time. Vivid canary yellow leather booths laid out like a classic American diner style.

The bill was about £15 including service charge.

It was fine no complaints.

Devonshire Terrace - quick bite

This was more of a 'grab a bit to eat' moment. Earlier this week a friend and I went for a few drinks after work at the Devonshire Terrace in Liverpool Street, London. I have been there a few time in the past it has an excellent out side space with heaters which is rather good as I think it actually dropped to about -2 degrees that evening. I ordered the steak burger and my friend chose a selection from the starters. Small portions and a little pricey. Filled a hole and did its job but didnt set the world a light. However I must say the service was very good.
