Amazing Boisdale ...

I have been wanting to go here for ages and ages so needless to say I was a touch excited about going. We ended up at the Canary Wharf one.

We walked in and were immediately greeted by two love looking ladies one offering to take my coat and the other to take us to our table. Now a friend of a friend who works for Boisdale had organises our table and made sure we had a lovely table with a view and bubbles! It's always nice to be made a fuss of.

The restaurant is just gorgeous! I love love love it  - you walk in to a large open restaurant with tables round the curve of the floor to celling windows and an large beautifully lit bar with bottles upon bottles sitting above the long dark wood bar. It made me think of the bar I the shinning - it's just lush!

The interior is very much as to be expected - dark wood, rich colours, dim intimate lighting creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. This was also enhanced by some live jazz. I was very excited by this but actually it was a little loud, we found it difficult to hear each other.

Now on to the food ...
The menu is really very good lots and lots to choose from which I normally don't like, I prefer to keep it small and do it well. But honestly I couldnt complain here.

I finally decided on the oak smoked salmon followed by rib beef on the bone with broccoli and chips

Both were amazing my steak was cooked to perfection sadly for me I couldn't actually manage the whole thing and ended up taking half back for my friends dog (well better he have it than it go in the bin)

My friend had retro prawn cocktail which looked amazing and the fish special

Our waiter was brilliant, the whole evening was perfect I would recommend Boisdale to everyone  and will defiantly be going back

I would say 10 /10 on all accounts
